The 2016 Academy Awards on Sunday night were filled with big moments and truly surprising wins. (How about all those awards for"Mad Max: Fury Road," huh?)
And, there were some standout elements that weren't so great, too.
We took a look back at Oscar night and highlighted the five best and worst moments.

BEST: Chris Rock's opening monologue was funny, poignant, and the best part — no one was safe.

BEST: The video bit substituting black actors into some of the Oscar-nominated films had the funniest jokes of the night, including Tracy Morgan's "Danish Girl."

BEST: Lady Gaga's performance of her nominated song from the documentary "The Hunting Ground"— which looks at rape on college campuses — was the most moving moment of the night. She was accompanied by sexual-assault survivors.
